EDICT is an online collaborative dictionary that enables users to add their own definitions to words, phrases, and concepts. With the aim of preventing misunderstandings, this platform encourages the exchange of ideas and opinions by allowing users to contribute to the meaning of words. EDICT is meant to be a tool for anyone looking for definitions that reflect the diversity of perspectives and experiences of its users.

Flipping through a book

The staggered letters of teh logo symbolize the act of flipping throug a dictionary. The text can be further simplified for very small spaces, like app icons. In this form however, the logo should always be in combination with EDICT as text. The letters can be animated for loading animations, etc.

Make it simple

The interface is designed to be as simple and intuitive as possible. The main focus of the UI is a central canvas where the current content is displayed. This approach provides users with a clear and uncluttered view of the information they are working with, allowing them to easily find, but also edit and manage their content. We believe that clean and straightforward design promotes collaboration and encourages users to contribute their own unique definitions to the platform.
